HIV and AIDS
There are many sexually transmitted diseases that we know of today. However
the most deadly one that we know of so far is AIDS. AIDS stands for acquired
immunodeficiency syndrome. HIV is known as the virus that causes AIDS. HIV
stands for human immunodeficiency virus. This virus can be passed from
person to person through blood and sexual contact. Pregnant women can also
pass HIV to their unborn baby. Some of the fluids that can spread HIV are:
blood, semen, vaginal fluid, breast milk, and other body fluids with blood.
As of now no one knows what causes the HIV virus. People with HIV can
develop AIDS within 10 years of being infected with the virus. It can be
different from person to person though. If you think you may be infected the
best way to know for sure is to get tested. Today, some medical treatments
can slow down the rate at which the HIV affects the immune system. There
are some treatments that can also treat or cure some illnesses that come
with AIDS, but they cannot cure the actual AIDS virus.

The purpose of my writing this article is to inform everyone about this
disease. My purpose is not to scare people about these diseases just to
inform them so that they shouldn’t consider having sex of any kind,
with safety in mind. I also want to advise anyone if the are thinking about having
sex of any kind and at any time please think of your safety and health and
consider all possible options such as (condoms) because even if you don't get AIDS there are many other sexually transmitted diseases and things that can happen if you
chose to have unsafe sex. You should also consider visiting health centers or any other
places with sexually transmitted disease information. You can also visit
